Multiplane Collection
Discover the art of layering.
Life is made of layers - moments, memories, and the people we carry with us. Beth Chesser celebrates that quiet richness through sculptural forms that reveal new depth with every movement. Crafted to be cherished, each piece is a gentle reminder that beauty isn't found in a single moment, but in everything that builds over time.
Each piece begins as a sketch of overlapping planes - inspired by the multiplane camera technique used in early hand-drawn animation, where separate layers of artwork are moved independently to create depth and motion. Every layer is designed in CAD and modelled in 3D before being cast in solid silver or gold, so the depth and spacing between planes is precise to a fraction of a millimetre. The result is a piece that shifts and catches the light as you move - considered from the inside out, not just the surface.
Two Rings. One Story.
Some pieces are made to be worn alone. Others are made to speak to one another.
Multiplane DUO is Beth's bespoke commissioning experience for two people connected by a shared story, an engagement, a friendship, a parent and child, a partnership.
Each ring carries a Signature Plane, an architectural pattern that unites the pair, and an Expression Plane, set with gemstones chosen by you, so the two rings speak the same language while remaining entirely your own.
From screen to studio
Every Beth Chesser design starts life in CAD. Working in 3D allows each layer of a piece to be modelled with precision long before it is cast , testing proportion, depth, and how the planes will move against one another.
Once a design is finalised, it is cast in solid silver or gold and finished entirely by hand, so the precision of the model meets the quiet imperfection of traditional goldsmithing.
