Duo II is a signet ring of two halves. One side is calm and jewelled: a 4x3mm pink pear sits in a softly scooped setting in brushed 9ct yellow gold, with a tiny blue sapphire and two small diamonds beneath it, like a constellation that has fallen from the stone. The other side is all movement, a recessed panel of nested squares that twist and fan out towards its centre.
The spiral panel was modelled in 3D and then cast in gold, which keeps every line crisp and precisely spaced. Its fine texture catches the light and shifts as your hand moves, and it contrasts with the smooth, brushed surface around the stones. The small stones are set flush into the gold, so the pink pear is the colour focus and the ring stays comfortable and smooth to wear.
The flat, rectangular face gives the ring the presence of a traditional signet, and the mix of colour and geometry makes it feel modern and personal. It works alone as an everyday statement, or stacked with plain bands.
